Linton First Christian Church will serve as a host of Night to Shine 2021, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. The unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, celebrating people with special needs will be held by host churches around the world simultaneously on Friday, February 12, 2021 through a unique online event. In a time when so many people have been left feeling alone or alienated, it is important for LFCC to stand with the Tim Tebow Foundation in this way to honor our local community of people with special needs, ensuring they know they are valued and they are loved.

Thanks for joining us tonight! Welcome to Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting. Jim Stahl will be hosting the live prayer meeting this week.
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Hebrews 1:1-4 | NIV |
The live video will be posted below at 5:50pm. You can also visit our Facebook page to access the live prayer meeting.
Online Prayer Meeting – Wednesday, August 11th February 28th, 2022Admin
Don't forget, LFCC has opened for Sunday Services! We have added new procedures to ensure that everyone is staying safe and healthy. View the new procedures and protocols here:http://www.peopletogod.com/lfcc-will-reopen-on-may-10th-new-procedures-for-sunday-worship/
Linton First Christian Church has resumed in-person Sunday services. We have added new procedures to ensure that everyone is staying safe and healthy. We ask that everyone review these new procedures if you plan on attending services. You can the new procedures and protocols below.
We will have a new list of protocols and procedures to follow and we also ask all attendees to complete a self-assessment to determine if you or anyone in your family has suffered from or been exposed to any symptoms of COVID-19. You will find links to both of these documents below.
We encourage all high risk individuals to continue worshipping at home with our online service. In addition to Facebook Live and YouTube, audio from our Sunday service will be available on a call-in line so you can listen on your telephone. Please view the resources below to determine if you or a loved one is considered high risk for COVID-19.
People with any of the listed conditions are encouraged to stay home by the CDC. That recommendation is likely to continue until a vaccine is available. The reason for this recommendation is simple: the medical outcome for “High Risk” people who contract Covid-19 is not good. In Indiana, 89% of the deaths from Covid-19 are in persons over 60. If you are over 65 and have any of the listed conditions, either stay home or call your doctor and discuss your prospects of continued good health.
In light of recent events concerning the Coronavirus we wanted to update you about some decisions we’ve made as a Church leadership.
Upon much prayer and deliberation, as of now, we are planning on proceeding with regularly scheduled services (including children’s programming) on Sunday, March 15th, 2020 (Sunday School at 8:30am, Sunday Gathering at 10:00am). Know that this is an ever-evolving situation and we will do our best to stay on top of it.
We are doing all we can to ensure that our facility is as safe as possible for our Church family. Counters, door handles, and other high-use items have been cleaned and disinfected numerous times.
In and effort to minimize contact, we will make the following alterations to our service:
Communion plates and offering bags will not be passed throughout the congregation
We will use only the two front entrances (SE and SW Doors under the awnings) for entry on Sunday morning.
Since Governor Eric Holcomb has imposed a limit on gatherings to no more than 250 people, once we reach 200 people in the main building we will begin diverting attendees to the Youth House where they may view the livestream of the service as a family.
We are taking every precaution we can to minimize risk to anyone and you can help with that. We need you to use good judgment to protect yourself and others.
If you are feeling sick, have a fever or a cough; we are asking you to stay home and worship together with us online.
If you have shortness of breath, are elderly, or have an immune system that is compromised; we are asking you to stay home and worship together with us online.
If you feel as if you may have been exposed to the Coronavirus, we are asking you to stay home and worship together with us online.
Please do not feel bad if you feel that you need to stay home. We want to be as safe as possible so we are asking everyone to err on the side of caution and worship with us online if you are the least bit uncertain.
Also, if you are worshipping online we encourage you to prepare communion and partake with us as a family during the service and don’t forget that you can give as part of your worship online at https://pushpay.com/g/peopletogod OR on the Linton First Christian Church app for iPhone or Android.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are trying to figure this out like everyone else, so please be flexible, be faithful, and stay tuned as things can change very quickly.
Don’t forget to be in prayer. Peter said in 1 Peter 3.12 12 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers.
God is hearing our prayers so please keep them coming.
God has been moving in mighty ways and we believe He will continue to move in mighty ways… This WILL NOT stop what HE is doing. Nothing will ever stop what God wants to accomplish! Our methods might have to change BUT the message NEVER WILL… and it must go out!
We trust God will protect us as His children BUT we will take every precaution we need to take.
Keep praying… love God… love people… share Jesus and be safe. We love you and will see you all soon.
