On this page you will find a list of resources that are available for anyone that may be homebound or need assistance at this time. If you are in need, or you know someone in need, we are prepared to assist you.

Several Church members have volunteered to run errands or go shopping for those that are homebound and unable to get out at this time. While they are unable to pay for your needs, they are willing to donate the time and resources to make sure that your necessary errands are completed.

Church Office Closure

Due to recent restrictions to help slow the spread of COVID-19, the church office will be closed from now until April 6th.

We will be checking messages often, so if you have a need, please leave a message at 812-847-9535.

We will continue online worship on Sundays at 10am until further notice. Please join us!

Free Lunches for Local Youth

Several local churches are working together to provide free lunches for children and youth in need over the next two weeks.

Drive-thru and walk-up service begins at 11:00 am at Linton First United Methodist Church. The church is located at 150 2nd Street Northeast in Linton.

Free lunches will be provided on the following dates:

Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27
Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3.

100 meals will be provided each day on a first come, first served basis. Delivery will not be provided and there are no holds.

Please enter the parking lot using the West entrance and leave using the North exit.

Note: Lunch pickup will take place at Linton First United Methodist Church in Linton.

Donations

Effective immediately: The food and clothing donation bins at Linton First Christian Church are shut down until further notice. This is due Goodwill’s closing because of COVID-19 and our volunteers being sheltered in place.

Anyone wanting to donate food can take it directly to the Linton Community Food Pantry and Thrift Store or Family Life Center in Bloomfield.
